Being the proud owner of Keyword Elite version 1.0, learning that there was a new version in the works had me, to say the least very excited. This beast was already packing some serious fire power, so my question was what next can be added. After months of anxiously waiting, I have to say the second generation of the Keyword Elite series did not disappoint. See keyword elite 2.0 in action here
The new additions are a smashing success, with new entrees such as Adwords Time Machine, JV Diamond Mind, CPA Magnet, increased speed and a much improved user interface. Keyword elite 2.0 is not only more powerful, it's also carters to the entry level user. The new interface now allows for the performance of multiple operations, subtleties such as trends data in the Market Research Sleuth were noticed and greatly appreciated.
I was absolutely taken aback by the boost in power, you can't go wrong with keyword data from the top search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, Word Tracker and Ask). The addition of Microsoft AdCenter Labs Commercial Intention was, let's say nothing short of genius. For those not familiar, AdCenter Labs Commercial Intention is a tool that allows you to gauge which phase of the keyword cycle your selected keyword is in (info, shop, buy). Expanding your keyword list is now a breeze with the addition of the ABC functionality that randomly cycles through your keyword list to form new variations.
Having the opportunity to test drive keyword elite for the last few days was quite surprising. I can't wait to start putting some millage on this bad boy. Let's dive a bit deeper into the features of keyword elite version 2.0.
Keyword Surge: This project allows you to create your initial keyword list. This program will allow you to create both long tail and short tail keyword lists. You will be able to filter all your results based on any and all possible criteria.
Market Research Sleuth: This program allows you to analyze your keywords in great detail showing exactly how competitive your keywords are in each of the major paid search engines including Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Bing (MSN).
Adwords Time Machine: This awesome new project allows you to quickly and easily find profitable Adwords advertisers which you can mirror your PPC strategy after. You will be able to input a keyword and instantly get a 6 month ad history for ALL websites which have advertised in at least 1 of the past 6 months. In addition you will be able to uncover the other terms which those advertisers were bidding as well. This project is as simple as inputting a single keyword and hitting start.
Search Engine Dominator: This project allows you to analyze how difficult it will be to rank for a particular keyword in the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing). You’ll be able to see what percentage of people searching on your keyword could be potential buyers or if they are simply browsers. You’ll also be able to see all “onpage” optimization elements for each of the top 10 ranked websites for the keyword you input giving you and idea of how to setup you page content for page 1 listings.
Adwords Competition Sniper: This project allows you to monitor specific keyword/website combinations in Adwords over time. The longer an advertiser is bidding on a keyword the more likely it is that they are making money from it. Once you locate established campaigns you will be able to mirror your campaigns from them and drastically reduce testing costs and time to profit.
Advance Google Site Targeter: This project allows you to quickly and easily find websites that are displaying Adsense ads. This data can be used to initiate optimized “site targeted” Adwords campaigns in Google which will save you money and bring targeted traffic to your website.
JV Diamond Mind: This project will simplify the process of sourcing joint venture partners on the web. The program allows you to source websites which are actively building an email list. Webmasters actively building lists are much more willing to promote your offers to their list providing you with a quick blast of traffic and revenue.
CPA Magnet: CPA is a type of affiliate offer which stands for Cost Per Acquisition. This project allows you to quickly and easily find CPA offers related to your niche. You’ll be able to search through 13,000 available CPA and affiliate offers to find that perfect money maker.
Conclusion: A few features could have been integrated such as Google Insight Search and also some sort of demographic research tool. Still in all this is a great tool that was well worth what I paid. I expected feature upgrades; to say I was totally blown away by what is now readily available at the click of a mouse would be the understatement of a life time. This tool now ranks Bookmaking Demon as one of those apps every marketer should own regardless of experience.
