A Mistake Is Not The End Of The World

Making mistakes can sometimes, feel like a 60 foot drop from one of the worlds scariest roller coaster and it can also feel like life itself is about to be over. Before when I made mistakes, I would mope around the house like I've lost a relative or someone just stole my puppy. For some reason, I would relive all of my past mistakes and question if I'm heading in the right direction. An error in judgment or a failed plan can make an individual want to throw in the towel and call it quits. But that's not always the case. Making mistakes can be one of the most fortunate occurrences that you may stumble upon. How many of us have gotten lost only to arrive at a destination faster than the route that was or still is familiar to us? Have you ever done something that you thought was a mistake only to received praise and accolades from you peers? I know we've all heard the cliché trial and error is the best tutor, trust me from my experiences this is the entirely true.Continued

Herbal Remedy from Heaven?

A few years ago I met a woman that told me about a multi Purpose herb called hyssop. Before I get in this article let’s start by saying I’m not a doctor and hyssop is not approved by the FDA.I only speak from experience, with that said. I was about 25 years old burning the candle at both ends and had little time to take care of myself. As you know when you don’t take care of your body you’re constantly tired and most certainly always under the weather. I’ve had a cold for about 3 weeks and it wasn’t getting any better, this began to worry me because one of the places where I was employed was quite hazardous being that I had to remove drug addicts, shoplifters and the homeless from the premises of a retail environment. After mustering up the courage to get myself tested. I was relieved when my result came back negative. Well what was wrong with me? It turned out that my immune system was a little out of whack. After trying some of the pharmaceutical remedies to no avail I try something unconventional.Continued

Is Hip Hop Music Really Dead?

A few months ago I was reading an article in the news paper titled "Hip Hop is dead" My first thought was what the heck could this author be talking about; I listen to it on the radio all the time. As I continued on I began to realize what point the author was trying to make. You see to answer this question you'll have to understand that hip hop and rap music are two sides of the same coin. They are same in the way that both possess bass filled rhythmic instrumentals, but they're quite different, See I always thought that rap and hip hop was the same until I read that article, let me explain. Rap music is what you listen to on the radio and what you see in the music videos, you know the guys with the truck load of jewelry, the half dressed women and the flashy cars.
